Mark Lalama at the Fonthill Bandshell

The Fonthill Bandshell closes its 2026 summer season with Niagara's own Mark Lalama, performing Thursday evening at Peace Park in Fonthill.

Born and raised in Welland and now a Fenwick resident, Lalama is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and longtime fixture in Canadian music. His career has included 15 years with Sisters Euclid, his work with Dizzy & Fay, and performances and recordings alongside an extensive list of Canadian and international artists.

Lalama's songs have been recorded by artists including Marc Jordan, Molly Johnson and John McDermott, while his work as a pianist and arranger has included the Canadian Idol Band and performances with artists including Tony Bennett, Nelly Furtado, Bryan Adams, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Cyndi Lauper.

Thursday's performance runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and marks the finale of the Fonthill Bandshell's 2026 season.
